Green Challenge of Dr. Gaurav Uppal, Resident Commissioner Telangana Bhavan
Press Release Date:- 10-12-2019 Dr. Gaurav Uppal, IAS, Resident Commissioner, Telangana Bhavan has planted saplings in the premises of Telangana Bhavan today as part of Telangana ku Haritharam campaign by the State Government . He has accepted the green challenge from Sri Adar Sinha, IAS, Special Chief Secretary to Government . Dr. Uppal has thrown the challenge to Superintendent of Police, Nalgonda, Collector, Wanaparthy and to Additional Resident Commissioner, Telangana Bhavan. After the plantation he spoke to media and said that the flagship programme taken by the State Government has increased the green cover in the state and we all are working towards achieving the target of 33% green cover. He said that the State Government has taken up 5th year of Harithaharam campaign successfully. He said that the main focus is given on survival of the saplings planted.
