‘’Within a short span of six years of the formation of the State, Telangana has stood first in the country in several maters.  The State had made rapid strides in all the sectors, marching towards progress and development” said Arvind Kumar IAS, Principal Secretary to Government (MA&UD) and Commissioner, I&PRD, Government of Telangana.

On Tuesday the Telangana State Information Centre, New Delhi has organized a one day workshop with a title ”Know Your 29th state of the country” in Gurajada Conference hall, Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi. The workshop was informative and interactive to know the developments in the Telangana state, functioning of Information and Public Relations Department, PR campaigns, best practices in PR implemented during COVID-19 and Challenges in virtual PR and so on. 

Sri  Arvind Kumar, has  addressed the gathering through Virtual mode from his office in Hyderabad. He has briefed on the initiatives of Telangana State Government, functioning of Department of Information and Public Relations, Welfare schemes for Journalists, State Government efforts in combating Covid-19. Later he had one on one interaction with the officials represented from the various state governments. 

Dr. Gaurav Uppal, IAS, Resident Commissioner, Telangana Bhavan has introduced the  Telangana state with its rich history, flagship programmes and functioning of the Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi. He has interacted with the officials with regard to their role in capital City. 

The basic idea of this programme is to unify the public relations professionals working for various state governments in Delhi, to raise professional standards, share knowledge, best practices and tackle common problems.  

The State Information Officers working in Delhi embracing a diversity that enables different applications through interaction with each other personally and professionally. 

The I&PR officers representing from Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Maharastra, Bihar and Kerala have participated in the programme

Sri Nagaiah, Additional Director, Sri Kishore Babu, Additional Director (Technical) Sri Jagan, Joint Director, Smt. Yamini, Assistant Director from the Commissionerate has joined virtually for the programme.
